The Howqua River is an iconic High Country river which is fed by the surrounding mountain ranges. Follow the footprints of generations of mountain cattlemen and horsemen who have ridden through this spectacular river system. We stay 2 nights at Stockyard Creek which is a quaint cattlemen’s homesteads set amongst the rolling hills owned by the Stoney family, here we have warm cosy beds, flushing toilets and hot showers.
