Season feature ride!
Our Wonnangatta backcountry ride takes in the Howqua River, The Bluff, King Billy, Mt Magdala, Howitt High Plains and the Staircase Spur and the Wonnangatta Valley. The Wonnangatta Valley is a remote and rugged part of the Alpine National Park. The scenery is spectacular, and the wildflowers are in an abundance. Wonnangatta Station was originally founded by a gold prospector passing through the area and later became a cattle grazing lease which was held by the Bryce family in the 1800s and was the site of an unsolved murder mystery. Today mystery remains around the valley.
